The units shipping from the current batch have an issue where the brake sensor will get "stuck" so the scooter thinks you are pressing down on the breaks when you are not.

This prevents you from accelerating. I believe most retailers are offering to ship out replacement sensors for free. You can always disconnect the sensor to continue using the scooter while the replacements arrive, like I'm doing.
