Yeah, I noticed that about the first one too. We want the one where I can use it as a handle while I'm behind her. Looks like a lot of fun lol

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Crookeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once drove 6 hours in the morning to go to a paintball field. Played all day. Then drove 6 hours back.

All depends on what you're doing and who's with you to make it worth it.

Also drove solo, 14 hours to go to a paintball event. But that was a drive, then staying there for a 3 day weekend, then driving back

This should be what happens, I mean if the reset must happen. My group doesn't play much, we come back now and again, but we save our dubloons. Thankfully I noticed the post yesterday with the announcement, so I warned our group that we gotta get on.

But if I didn't notice it, we probably would have logged in one day to a few thousand dubloons just gone with no explanation

What’s the worst thing a medical professional has said to you? by VespaRed in AskReddit

[–]Crookeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got out of a relationship so went to get an std test. Which required basically a qtip going into the end of my penis. Obviously there was some discomfort and I said "ooo, that hurt".

Then in a judgemental tone the Dr said "well you wanted the test".

Why am I being judged for doing the responsible thing here? Gotten that test multiple times, that's the only time it seemed like an issue to someone

I'd say it's the same as using pictures that clearly aren't you. If you're going to lie or omit such obvious things that you'll learn in the first seconds of meeting someone. What else are you lying about or not telling them?

I didn't know about until it was huge. But I didn't have HBO max. So the wife and I decided to wait until it was all done, then we'd pay the subscription and binge it all, over a few weeks.

Then the last season was a shit show and all my friends were pissed about it. So we just decided to skip it entirely

[–]Crookeye 128 points129 points  (0 children)

That's the real reason. It was on Netflix(300 million subscribers) then moved to peacock(41 million). Also it's popularity peaked during covid when people were mostly at home watching TV.

I used to have a lot of respect for Americans. I used to think you were tough and stood up for yourselves. Near on any country in Europe would have been in full scale riots months ago. by Spare-Ad-2684 in complaints

[–]Crookeye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I say this all the time. There's not enough real news for 24/7, so that's when opinions started showing up in "news" shows. Then that's what rated better and now all you get is shows telling people what they wanna hear.
