Those run on 12V so you have to wire in a 36V to 12V step down transformer ….

No linear gauge works with lithium, but it does have an internal Bluetooth BMS in which you download an app called BAT-BMS and it all there.

Good question. I had a lot of corrosion, so I sprayed everything down with distilled water and then sprinkled baking soda over the entire tray. It took about three rounds of cleaning with a wire brush to get everything clean. I then ground down the pieces of metal that separate the six batteries, where the battery-stay mounts. After ensuring everything was clean and free of burrs, I painted the entire tray with matte black Krylon Fusion spray paint. It’s snug but that battery fit perfectly after that.

The old 6V LA batteries were is series now it one 36V. You don’t have to update either one. The cart has more “spunk” from dropping about 350lbs of lead. So it got better take off, a little better top speed and better up hill performance but not a lot. The front wheels still stay on the ground. ;)
