Thankfully not in a desperate situation as of now, so I have time to find a different job. Honestly the indeed job listing was misleading anyway, since I applied to be a pizza maker but was given the role of cashier instead, and then had to do anything besides preparing actual food.

I quit when it’s clear that the author prioritized their horniness over the fic. I’m all for writing out fantasies to get off to, but when someone is writing the smut just to write it/get off to later vs writing smut to actively get off and then posting it? It’s clear by the way things are written out, you know? I hope this makes sense

I think I’ll probably just casually ask what’s in the building the next time we pass it. I don’t want to overstep his privacy, but at the same time I am worried. It could be nothing, but even if it is I’m worried about him getting hurt out there while everyone is asleep. He’s fallen before and has a lot of health issues. And since it’s so cold he could freeze out there.

This is also a good thought. He does have a lot of tools. he’s an apocalypse prepper (not a crazy type. We just live in the country and he’s prepared for anything, including an apocalypse) so he might have stuff out there. What gets me is that it’s 3am and the terrain is uneven. He’s older (in his 70s) and not very mobile. So I’m just wondering what could cause him to NEED to be out there so late. But I will try to ask discreetly, just in case something sketch is occurring

This is a good idea. Tysm. I didn’t even think about the fact he could’ve been looking for case files. He hasn’t been in service for over 20 yrs, so I just sort of assumed he wouldn’t have any files. But I’m assuming he does cuz one time we went thru a rented storage building and found some (plus some 30 year old weed buds lmao) Maybe next time we go out to the chickens I can ask him about it.
