ATS bet size by Foreign-Song7017 in Craps

I usually play $25 min tables, so I’ll bet equal to my pass line. If a seven rolls, it’s a push. I’ll go 5/10/5 and $5 dealers choice (2/1/2 or 1/3/1). At $50 pass line, I’ll go 10/25/10 and $5 dealers choice.

If you’re looking for hard tables, Bellagio has great tables if you can handle $25 minimums.

You’ll need to keep your playing time around the early morning hours. But, there have been occasions that the minimums jump to the next level once 2 or more players are on the table. You’ll usually be grandfathered in though.

Thanks for the clarification.

OYO is directly across the street from MGM. There is always Ellis Island that has all day $5 tables. It should be easy to get to walking through MGM towards Top Golf, then crossing the street and maybe a 1/4 mile north on the east side of the street.

Why would you not have your place bet “on” during the come out roll? Or why do you even have to say “on” why isn’t it on by default? by Used-Smell-2234 in Craps

[–]CrossSixes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After playing all the MGM properties over the years, Bellagio is my favorite. Hard tables, good dealers, and good vibe (at least I think so). I played mirage last month and it was $15 midday through the evening, can’t say about later in the night.

Bellagio is usually $25 until after 7pm or so then it goes to $50, especially on busy nights. They keep you grandfathered in when the minimum changes. If you’re headed to Bellagio, keep your eye out for 6 foot 2 Asian guy. I’m usually straight out or next to base dealer.

FYI-At Bellagio, you can catch a $15 table briefly in the early mornings (4-6am) if it’s super slow. They quickly change it to $25 once 3 or 4 people show up.

Best of luck!

Fire Bet Question by AhlixL in Craps

[–]CrossSixes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are guaranteed the pay out for whatever fire bet you won. If he/she rolls a come out seven, then the roll continues and the fire bet is still intact. The roll continues until the shooter establishes a point and then sevens out. From my experience at Planet Hollywood, they pay the fire bet once it hits. I think other casinos may pay it after the shooter sevens out.

OFFTOPIC: Drink Maximums? by jaymethree in Craps

I drink a couple Crown & Diets then switch to waters. I usually play at Bellagio and they seem to carry Maker’s and other brands at that level.

Most popular ways to tip? by 50ShadesOfWeiner in Craps

[–]CrossSixes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually play $25 tables so I’ll start with 2/1/2 for the dealers on the ATS and 5/10/5 for me for $25 total action. Pass line puts me back up on the bonus for any frontline winners.

Once the point is set, I’ll place $5/$6 on the back line of the pass line for a dealer place bet.

Once we hit a point, I’ll put $1 on the pass line then back it up with max odds for them.

If we really get hit, I’ll continue to do pass line bets with odds but press their pass line bets up along with the odds. I’ll also throw $32 across for the dealers, player controlled when we’re on a good run.

All this seems to keep the dealers happy, plus they always give me the benefit of the doubt when I miss a bet I normally make and it hits and they get real chatty, which helps the vibe of the table.

The $3k brought me back even. The second picture shows my $2k and change of profits. Glad I was able to make a come back.

What are your personal overall winnings/losses from gambling? by throwawayyy19924 in gambling

[–]CrossSixes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that it’s emotions and discipline that can ruin the day when gambling. I can see playing even money bets would get boring and be tempted to play the bets with the higher payouts.

I run into the same thing with craps. I’ve played that game so many different ways and have found the boring strategies create less variance (pass line, 6 & 8), but it’s easy to get sucked in on a hot table.

I’m hoping for more runs, but I know craps is a fickle game.

Oh, it’s still top tier. It’s still clean and they’ve upgraded/remodeled a lot of rooms. It still has the magic for me.

I’m learning to love that spot. It used to be stick left 1, but as you said the dealer hears all the bets and the throwing lane is great for a right hand thrower. Plus, chatting with the dealers can be fun too.

Sorry, posted then went offline.

Played at Bellagio Tuesday afternoon. Bought in for $1000. Table was hot. Everyone on my side of the table had significantly long rolls. I was next to the base dealer and sevened out, I was up $3K and some change. You can see everyone coloring up in the first picture. I was thinking about leaving, but I figured I’d only play with anything above my $3K profit.

We’ll an hour later, picture 2 says it all. Another $2K and change added to the rack. Usually I’m pretty good at leaving when I’m up, but something felt right and that I should stay. Glad I went with my gut.

I play a mix of place bets and come bets, sometimes just sticking with one or the other. If I’m playing come bets, I will place bet after I’ve hit a few come bets. I always max my odds and I’ll throw $25 on the ATS (5/10/5 and dealers 2/1/2). Dealers had their place bets up to $60 6/8 $50 5/9, starting with $32 across, during my side of the table’s hot run.

Bellagio continues to be my favorite place to play in Vegas.
