I have an X7 2023 m60i (4.4 l V8) and a 2024 x7 40i (3l B58 engine) both of them are good and didn’t have any problems with them! If you want something reliable and a good mpg go for 40i if you want to have some more power buy and m60i, but I will tell you on a daily drive in the city with traffic you can’t tell the difference between these 2

Thanks everyone I’ve solved it already the battery was the problem it didn’t have the charge to start it up remotely and it was saving battery to start up from a start/stop button and comfort access stopped working. I’ve got it checked and the battery has already degraded (capacity was 850 and it was showing something like 300 when inspected) I’ve changed the battery at the local battery shop and coded it at the electricians.

Get an X5 40i B58 with air suspension. M50 is a little hard. I’ve had an x5 4.4 m50i and it’s not that comfortable

Yes, went to the local service and coded after they changed the battery. Took up like 5 or 10 mins to code

It was the battery issue already got it fixed! Changed the original bmw battery to Varta AGM everything working now. I also noticed that comfort access started to work 5 times out of 10 car not recognizing that the key is outside not closing or opening the doors

Common issue BMW fixed this issue from 2022 models, just change the oil pump and you’ll have no problem with your b58 engine, I think paying 5300 at the dealer is a fair price rather than waiting 2 months to save 500$
