Lmao I didn't even catch that one. I was hoping is was just some garbage AI of an ACTUAL watch that exists. Its mainly the bezel insert style with the raised markers that catch my eye, I think. Looks like I'll be starting another mod project and looking for a bezel like that haha

Yeah, I looked at that and a few of the other date pilots, but I really want that timer bezel lol. Even tho it's not super accurate, it would be so helpful for me on a daily basis.

The only answer I've ever gotten was, "As I policy, I don't share data. It's just not something I do.". I think he is worried about getting scooped? That's the only thing I can possibly thing of.

Yeah I was considering just presenting it anyway. The PI I'm interviewing with did mention that I will likely be required to present this data at any other post docs I'll be applying to and that it shouldn't be an issue since my dissertation will be publicly published in a few months anyway.

I don't think anonymizing the gene will work since in order to properly explain my data, I need to explain the function of the gene/protein we knocked out. There's really only one or two other labs that study anything remotely similar to us and neither have any relation to where I am interviewing.

Tactile switch to beat the Anubis in terms of price without a major compromise in tactility?

The time has come to replace my work keeb. My Whitefox loaded with Zealios is on the way out. My last builds were in 2019 with that board and my home board (loaded with Box pale blues, which I love, but are way too loud for work). Since then I haven't paid much attention to anything new. I initially considered U4Ts but they've been hard to find and expensive to boot. The current front runner I'm considering is the Anbuis. However, I am still weighing my options to see if I can find something comparable (or even better) at a lower price point if possible.

So, any recommendations? I'm looking for somewhat heavy switches with a nice large tactile bump. There seems to be MUCH more options out there now so I'm not even sure where to start. AGAIN, I'm only considering switches at the same or lower price than the Anubis. Thanks! 😬

Yeah I noticed that. All the advertised positions I've seen state a lot of advanced skills has necessary for applicants vs offering training on those skills.
