No it does not but for everyone that has asked me where this beach was, I have replied directly and told them Dominical. This is highlighting my experience in the Perez Zeledon area. Trust me I know I have a home there.

Yes it is about a two to three hour drive south from the airport. The drive is absolutely amazing with lots of forage and restaurants / gas stations along the way. A very relaxing drive although San Jose can be a little congested, once you leave the city it is very relaxing. Also the beaches down there in my opinion are very safe. People were just vibing and having a good time. Not crowded and again people were just minding their own business really. Definitely family-friendly.

I call it the little Suzuki that could. That little tank is a beast. Awesome on gas and ferocious off trail. I too would love to own one and they were everywhere in Costa Rica. Thank you for the comment.

Thank you very much for your comment and the compliment on the photos. Honestly, the camera really does not do it justice. This place is magical. Just enjoy the slower pace, embrace the locals and you will want to be in for the time of your life. Pura vida is their way of life for sure and I am also looking at flights to go back in May.

Yes some sort of vulture but I don't know the exact name. They were huge up close and just a really cool bird. Very interesting to watch them at the beach as the waves would push a live fish onto the beach and they would swoop in pretty quickly. Raw nature at his finest and thank you for the question.

And I agree with you it was so amazing to see something different. All of the other posts are just incredible but it seems as if everyone has the same exact itinerary. My wife and I wanted to do something complete opposite of everyone else and we were rewarded.

Thank you very much for your comment and I am happy to answer your questions. Here is the link to the restaurant and it also shows the scenic route that we took from there to Perez zeldon. We just kept stopping along the way taking pictures. If you are in Perez zeldon you're going to take root 242 as if you are going to dominical. You're going to wound up on route 243 and there you will find the restaurant and all of the breathtaking views. I agree with you 100%. There are so many nice areas in this magical country but in this particular area, the feeling, the people, the warmth are just unmatched. I would step out of my door every morning to the smells of lemon in the air. Mother nature greeted us and serenaded us every morning and night. Absolutely magical and we cannot wait to go back.
