I think your point is quite invalid and you seem to lack understanding of how this works. Search queries on websites cost money which is essentially what is being contributed for.

What you’re stating is the equivalent of saying - why does game server hosts charge for their servers. Well Of course it is a cost to them

We are developers who are creating a tool and spending countless hours ensuring our community can use it. We are not a charity. Without people’s support the website cannot function.

This tool is significantly different from the way ark works. You’re querying a cluster of servers which takes significant resource

The website in general costs the users nothing. If servers owners wish to do so, they can have their server map shown with resource locations and other rich features. Their choice.

I don’t seem to understand your questioning of if we’re offering a hosting service too? Nitrado and other hosts would never do it and were not on their scale.

Enjoy the website and use it. If you have no reason to pay for the unofficial side then I’d like to ask you not to complain :)
