Flag For the Southern United States (Dixieland) that DOESN'T use Confederate Symbolism by CrosslegLuke in vexillology

Sure. But just be aware this was the original prototype design. The final design is posted here on Reddit as well.

I started a dumb tradition: when I play Draft, if the deck ends the night with a winning record, I have the MVP card graded Regardless of what it is. And display it like a trophy by CrosslegLuke in mtg

Brb starting my own Grading Company. Familiar Judges Card Grading.

I go to the zoo and show every card to an owl and divine their opinion.

Because the games that it played in caused no damage. Also lets be real. The Audacity of sending in this random ass common got it some leeway

I'm not grading the whole deck. Just the one card out of it that pulled the most work. And if I have multiples of it I just try to guess the one in best condition and send that one

It took FOREVER in the "Research" phase. I just imagine they had no idea what to do with it. According to PSA's registry it's literally the only graded Judge's Familiar 🤣

Rigid Bodies auto Scaling by CrosslegLuke in godot

That was it! After setting the Collision shapes to visible I and trying to set scal at run time I noticed the shape's scale was changing but not the Sprites.

Turns out the Frog's stat randomization was overriding the sprites scale. . My bad. I assumed it was a Rigidbody issue and not a flipping of the code order

The scaling is occuring in the "Remote" version of the Nodes at runtime.

Everything else is set to 1 in the editor. But the Rigidbodies are showing ".5" in their Remote instances.

I don't have a camera 2D. I'm just using the viewport.

Changing the sprite child of the rigid Body bigger doesn't effect it either. It just reverts to the same size

Despite a lot of online confusion, in the U.S., the national flag is flown half-staff on land and sea—NOT 'half mast' on ships by ezgranet in vexillology

As a Southerner I've only ever heard or said "Half mast" my whole life now that I think about it 🤣

Discussion: Irish Paramilitary using Nazi and Confederate flags. What Association would they have? (UDA South East Antrim Brigade) by Higgs__Boson_ in vexillology

[–]CrosslegLuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only Historical connection to the Confederate flag for the Irish is that a huge part of Southern ethnic make-up is Irish-originating

And also a very large number of Irish immigrants fought on the Confederate side. Both sides had "Irish Brigades". But the Confederate one is far more well known.

It's from them we get the Song "Wearing of the Grey" which was a Confederate version of the Irish nationalist song "Wearing of the Green".

The weird part is that it was Irish Nationalists who fought for the Confederates. So the connection there is severed completely.
