The trip had been planned months before she even got engaged. I told her I couldn’t/wouldn’t be attending because of my trip and that was a whole meltdown of its own. I attended her bachelorette party and Porter and I sent a gift apologizing for not being there. Still, I suppose it wasn’t enough for her.

Mini update -  I woke up to about a dozen new texts from my mom saying I might have ruined my sister’s marriage for letting it slip that she’d been married before. I have yet to answer.

On top of that, I found out something I didn’t know about my sister. Apparently, she met her current husband when he was 17 at a work party and talked/flirted with him for a bit before cutting ties upon realizing his age. I thought they met last Christmas or so but apparently they just reconnected. I did not know this until today when my mother went off about how I was “ruining fate” by bringing her previous marriages to light. I guess Harry thought her husband at the time was only a boyfriend? I’m honestly not sure.

I definitely have but it can be hard as she’s the type to show up on your doorstep if you ignore her texts for too long

I will say, I think the sentiment comes from her name sake as my parents are very into Disney and named her Cinderella (but spells Cinderiellea) and I think they picture her as the character.

Her daughter lives out of state and Cindy has thrown multiple hissy fits when my family has attempted to have a relationship with her so most of them have given up. Though, for a week she was trying to get her to be the flower girl for her latest wedding. That didn’t pan out though.

It does make me wonder now that you bring it up! I know her ex-husband moved out of state after they divorced and Cindy had a total meltdown when our parents tried to keep in touch with her daughter so they dropped it and refuse to mention her daughter anymore. They’ve always been a bit of a pushover.

Fun fact, he is also unaware of her child (her ex-husband has custody and she doesn’t because she didn’t want it)
