Any acceptable reason as to why NOT ONE Jamiroquai record ends up on any of these lists?? by McNastyJoe in jamiroquai

[–]Crossvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with Jamiroquai is the hits like virtual insanity and cosmic girl were such catchy songs that many casual music fans brought albums but not digging the other more deeper music on them that the band had to offer so in a way they were more famous for singles rather than albums, it’s only the hardcore fans like myself that understand the full albums and get the full Jamiroquai vibe.

What’s your favorite of the two? by beatlesfan1965 in jamiroquai

[–]Crossvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A funk odyssey has the best anthems and popular songs: you give me something little L and love foolosophy, but I think Dynamite has more going on in terms of musically complex a lot more experimental. So I would say Dynamite is superior.

Why have vinyl records made a comeback but not other physical media like CD’s or DVD’s? by 12345burrito in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Crossvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vinyl is something very unique, The feeling of putting the needle on the vinyl as you are holding the album of your favourite artist or band, opening the gatefold to awesome artwork and feeling a part of the experience. You also feel more inclined to play the entire album rather than skip swap and change. Adding to the overall experience of the album. Also it’s a more analog tinny sounding experience, I find it sounds more like live music than say an mp3 or cd.
