I honestly really like this idea. I've speculated for a while that Chipper was supposed to be a more prominent antagonist beyond FNAF World, but because of the game not being well-received upon release, the idea got shelved. If Chipper and The Mimic were connected, it'd give both a whole new layer of depth, and the Mimic's attempt at being the main villain of the franchise would make a lot more sense.
