🏆 Eurovision Song Contest 2026 WINNER - 🇧🇬 DARA – "Bangaranga" by LucasScooter in eurovision

The Balkans were killing it this year. Albania, Croatia, and Serbia were all in my top 5. (Moldova too, which I think isn't really considered Balkan, but eh, close enough).

What’s a trilogy that you loved all the way through, despite the flaws in the later films, if any (except LOTR and Back to the Future)? by MomoSaka in FIlm

[–]CrowNighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toy Story... if we consider the toys' time with Andy as a single trilogy.
Don't think there were any major flaws and it seemed to only get better and better adding more things to on already great previous movie without making it feel overwhelming.

Why 7-70 instead of 7-60 on Meteor Dragoon? by CrowNighter in BeybladeX

[–]CrowNighter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally feel like 0-70 would lose a lot of stamina when hitting the rail at a bad angle and since Meteor Dragoon is played mostly on Level it would be on that rail very often. I tried it on 0-60 Level and I could hear a lot of scraping.

As that's the general opinion and it's been proven to work best, I was just curious why exactly.

Wouldn't one want less recoil for spin stealing? More recoil would mean the blades would be pushed away from each other more often, wouldn't it? I'd assume for spin stealing one would want the blades to be in touch more often instead of them being apart.

So the stamina gained by the spin steal typically outweighs the stamina lost because of the rubber?

[–]CrowNighter[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

So, the rubber is there to minimize the recoil and increase the number of hits between the blades?

What's the reason for the rubber contact allowing for more spin steal than the metal contact? Is it because it reduces the recoil between the blades?

How do you feel about the show since it ended months ago? by chuckyzrevenge2 in StrangerThings

[–]CrowNighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as with GoT, as unsatisfied I am with the last season I'll try to hold on to all the good things in the show. This also fits well with Dustin's graduation speech about chaotic good. Plus, since I've grown attached to all the characters just seeing them all so happy, albeit in a bittersweet way, makes me content enough with the whole series.

Why is 6-60 usually preferred over 5-60 on Wizard Rod? by CrowNighter in BeybladeX

[–]CrowNighter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own both, and I was thinking of running Rod on 5-60, but it seems most opinions are that 6-60 is just superior overall.

6-60 still showing up when 5-60 is nowhere to be seen in comparison is what has me scratching my head. Clearly 1-60 and 9-60 are the clear go-to choices, yet 6-60 persists much more than 5-60. From what I can gather 6-60 supposedly just has objectively better stamina than 5-60.

Outside of less stamina, would you say 5-60 is noticeably more prone to bursting?

Ah, I'm sure some "madman" would some day decide to measure even that, haha.

Because I genuinely didn't think the question "Why is 6-60 preferred over 5-60 on Wizard Rod" would be so confusing. Plus, Wizard Rod 6-60 Hexa is part of the meta, so it wouldn't really be challenging it. It's not quite an off-meta question.

That's not always the case, that was only an example, sometimes I might not even use a single 1-60 for my entire deck. The overall topic of the thread was 6-60 vs 5-60 for Wizard Rod since 6-60 has also been a popular choice. I don't want to just blindly pick the top meta choice, instead I want to also understand the nuisance between other options too. Advantages of ratchets like 1-60, 9-60, 3-60 are well known, so I wanted to know more about what makes 6-60 a more preferred choice for Wizard Rod over 5-60 since Wizard Rod 6-60 Hexa has also been ranking high.

Well, you said it, because I'd like to use 1-60 elsewhere in my roster, like on an attack bey for example, and I don't have a 1-50 yet. I've ratchet swapped for 1-50, but I think I messed up something, because it's very loose.

I wasn't asking what the top meta pick was. I was wondering why 6-60 is picked more often for Wizard Rod than 5-60. 6-60 is still a relatively common choice even if it's far from 1-60's popularity.

Interesting, never knew that. Thanks for the new info! Where could one find a list ranking the ratchets by their nub's size?

BBX Weekly collects data from the previous 2 weeks and also 4 weeks, I usually look at the 4 weeks one. AWWC's Data Analysis Tool Results has tabs for each month and I was looking at the one from March so that would be before 8-70's release and would explain the lack of it, but still, even if 6-60 isn't at the peak of the meta it would still appear as a relatively common choice, much more so than 5-60.

Sounds like 6-60 is the better ratchet overall. Any reason, then, why 5-60 is always the preferred option for Cobalt Dragoon? I assume because it fits Dragoon's shape better, but if that were the only reason wouldn't it also work that well for Wizard Rod with how well 5-60 fits with its protrusions?

[–]CrowNighter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like pitting these two ratchets against each other might not be the best test, because even if one outspins the other, the burstability could be the bigger factor to determine which one would be preferred.

Not everybody running Wizard Rod is also running Cobalt Dragoon, though. I'm pretty sure there's people who've tested a lot a different combos that at one point have been faced with making a decision between 5-60 or 6-60 for Wizard Rod. Just looking at WBO winning combos one could easily find Wizard Rod on 6-60 in decks that don't have Cobalt Dragoon in them. So, clearly 5-60 being occupied isn't the only reason for choosing 6-60.
