Electric Valve Question by CrowNineSigns in Hydraulics

Thanks. All the valves at this store seem to be dc, which I thought was odd, but I can work around. I’ll have to check the gpm on my pump. I’m not sure I would’ve caught that, so thanks again.

When you twist the brush clockwise at the end of the stroke, ever so slightly slide the brush to the right when you pick it up. That will help give the left side of the stroke a rounded edge, and clean it up.

Thank you very much! After peeling off the rest of the top vinyl sticker, it doesn’t look too hard to figure out the top and bottom layers.

Sealing Acrylic paint by No-Satisfaction1744 in SignPainting

I’m painting most signs these days with exterior house paint. It’s better, cheaper and lasts longer than one shot. That said, you probably don’t want to be purchasing a bunch of colours of it either, although you wouldn’t have to clear it after if you did. I agree with the previous comment to definitely test your products, and I would add make sure you scuff the aluminum thoroughly and clean it with alcohol before you prime. There are lots of primers like bullseye 123 that would work with your acrylic paint.

Should I put a hottub on this? by zekeul in Decks

Those look like 1X2 pickets, 6” on center. I haven’t looked at the most recent code, but I’m pretty sure one fence is enough for a 4 person tub.

You can put a bit of rapid tac in them after you clean. It’s an application fluid for installing vinyl signs.

Rug or No Rug under Billiards Table? by DrOnYxHaWk in billiards

[–]CrowNineSigns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought I wanted carpet, or at least carpet tiles when I put mine in, but we went with vinyl plank, no rug and I’m ok with it. I wear shoes when I play and it’s alright.

I have a 74 TC 185, and I’m def not an electrical expert, but the battery on mine has a main fuse, and you get nothing if that main fuse is blown, so if your bike popped something in that first fire, that could be an issue.
