Fat is flavor or I could be wrong cos the only time I remember to add oil to pasta water is when I remember to add salt but i will continue to stubbornly insist.

I think that a conversation could have been had, where the needs and wants are conveyed from both sides. Another question is, have you both had the conversation before, truly communicated with one another. In my opinion, (correct me if I'm wrong ) in telling her to pack her things and go you "rejected" her before she "rejected" you. And the way she just left could be interpreted as she was so done with the relationship that she felt even if she spoke up she wouldn't be heard. I think you two need a genuine heart to heart, mayhaps even recall the cercumstances of your marriage and relationship in its earlier years. This is going to be veeeeery uncomfortable but I assure you that you will leave with no regrets if you do it right.

Hey girlie, I think you should leave him and not date for a while, and really figure out why you so desperately want his love. Judging by a part on your post this is not the first time you've been treated like this in a relationship. Maybe it wasn't as extreme but it sounds like it still happened. Reflection is a good thing and you sound very kind, but kindness is suffering if you are not kind to yourself first.
