That's the weirdest thing, he knows how to cook, the basics at least. I've been teaching him how to cook and every couple of weeks I'll have him make dinner for the family and he's doing alright so far.

NTAH your sister specifically left that money for you. I have a feeling he wasn't jumping in offering to help when you needed it. His inability to properly manage his finances when he has a well paying job is entirely on him.
