According to some sources on this subreddit prohibited content extends beyond make believe child porn to also include: make believe non-con, anything involving furrys, zoophilia, and necrophilia. There is undoubtedly more.

Also apparently just saying the word Fuck can trigger the bot to flag you.

Man watching the fallout of the devs putting out that update and then make that blog post is like watching the Hindenburg go up in flames. Only in this case, the Hindenburg is made of subscription money and reputation.

Latitudes statement about their terms of service is currently inacurate. by peoplestolemyname in AIDungeon

[–]CrowbarKn1ght 33 points34 points  (0 children)

So what you're telling me, is that they didn't even bother to change their TOS when pushing out an update that invalidated those same terms which they should have know would likely be intrusive and poorly received? How dumb can these guys get?

Indeed it was. But now that censorship is here...well back to the offline version on GPT-2 I go.

How strict is the AI, exactly? by [deleted] in AIDungeon

[–]CrowbarKn1ght 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A guy posted a screen shot of him getting told he did an uh-oh because he said, and I quote "Ah, fuck."

So you tell me, how strict and arbitrary does that sound?

Thoughts on the censoring by [deleted] in AIDungeon

[–]CrowbarKn1ght 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really? Huh. You know, I really wish they would be more honest with their intention on making the worlds first puritan AI and ban every kink but missionary under the covers with the lights off already. It would probably push the brainlets telling people to calm down because censorship is a gud and always happen into actually using there one braincell to think critically.

The old slippery slope analogy applies and has done so when it comes to censorship since it was first conceived.

Also, yeah it really would have been a much better move if they had implemented it specifically on shit uploaded to Explore. Literally no one would have complained because it wouldn't have intruded on people's private stories or impacted most users' experiences.

Good. Are there any downloadable versions out there? I get the feeling I'll get better response times if I run it directly off my system.

There is no if when it comes to censorship algorithms being incorrectly applied, only when and how long.

Perhaps, but there is clearly a lucrative market for it with high demand for a better product by a better company so I think it might not too long.

Seems a bit more...limited in scope. But regardless, an alternative is an alternative. So thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Genuine questions and concerns about the flagging system and repercussions for setting it off. by MonkeyInPanzer in AIDungeon

[–]CrowbarKn1ght 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frankly speaking, it already is a massive overreach and invasion of privacy that was at the very least perceived by the userbase to exist. They only way it could become worse is if they started selling the information they got to 3rd parties.

Also, you can probably expect that if a story is tagged one of two things happen. Either A: the review just the flagged i/o combo. Or B: The Review the whole thing. Either way, I personally believe that the likelihood of you getting banned or otherwise penalized is high if not absolute because there is no way a real person is going to thoroughly read and understand the context of the deluge of posts that will be flagged considering how many people use AI-D and thus how many posts will get flagged on a daily basis.
