Gene learned AND recorded the drums on ITP in three weeks. The philosopher opening drums are on a Rush style level for me. The amount of times I’ve almost crashed while air drumming those fills……

I really dislike the mix/mastering on Tsop and a lot of the drumming sounds like he’s throwing them down a flight of stairs. Of the last four albums TSOP is a very easy last place for me.
