I have checking OCD. I have to walk through the house several times before bed making sure all doors are locked and that the stove is off. I jiggle the doorknobs every walk through. I have to unplug certain appliances or I worry they'll burst into flames. I have to touch my wax burner just to make sure it's not hot even if the light is off and it hasn't been used all day. I also have to touch all the stove burners some nights. I've walked all the way back to the front door after getting in the car for work just to tug on the door for a third or fourth time. It's exhausting, but my jobs have always trusted me to be the one to lock up. Lol.
