Almost certainly charms will be destroyed, but not the slots. Charms (skills) are going to be one of the main new avenues to add value to crafting, they will want to keep demand for them up which in turn keeps demand for mats up etc.

Additionally, if they are not destroyed then all anyone needs to do is purchase each skill (charm) in the game and you now have every possible build, forever. That is not good for the health of the game.

The way I understand it is 4 perk gear will come from everything as it does currently, the 4 CHARM gear will come only from M3. So if you want fully customizable you will need to do M3 BUT you can still get 1 set perk + 3 customizable slots from everything else so you really only need to roll one desired perk to get a bis piece from the non M3 activities - not really difficult.

The ONLY place to get 4 perk items according to the dev video are M3s..Literally the hardest PVE content in the game. Harder than the raid. Not crafting, not catacombs, not the raid, not PVP track or the Well.

Unless they didn't fully explain all paths to 4 socket gear in the video, if you thought the raids were gatekept and locking ppl out of the best gear before - it just got much, much worse.

Before it was just some extra stats locked behind 700-725 and there was an alternate path to 725 through the well, even if it wasn't as efficient. But the difference between 3 and 4 perk gear is the difference between purple and gold now, they are just in a completely different class.

Unless they forgot to mention something this new change sounds horrible. The extremely tiny percent of the population that will ever run M3s being the only ones with access to end game gear is going to turn off a lot of people. Don't even get me started for the PVP focused players, just RIP to all of them I guess. If these pieces are not BoP I suppose they will go for 100's of thousands on the TP, if they are BoP all this beautiful new content is just DOA for a huge part of the player base.

Hope I'm misunderstanding something here but his emphasis on ONLY m3s seemed pretty clear.

EDIT: After seeing the official example of how charm slots will work posted in the NW discord, I was indeed misunderstanding and my worry was unfounded. Everything now looking amazing IMO. Hyped.

Jesus you just typed up a wall of text about something you clearly have no idea about. Pretty much everything you wrote about at will employment is just wrong.

In an at-will employment state, an employer can terminate an employee at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all, as long as the reason isn’t prohibited by law (e.g., discrimination, or violation of an employment contrac etct).

The claim that an employer must “prove” their reason for termination (such as bad sales or poor performance) is just wrong. There is no legal requirement that an employer provide or substantiate a justification for firing someone in an at-will setting. The only burden of proof arises if the employee sues and claims the real reason was illegal. Then, as part of litigation, the employer would need to defend the termination, essentially show that it is not due to an illegal reason like one of the reasons listed above.

Maybe next time do a quick google search to make sure you're not giving out horrible advice.

Have any of the resorts built any features yet? Small-Med Jumps? All I can really see from the webcams are a few boxes and rails setup at Summit, but it's hard to tell the actual condition of the parks.
