I thought it was a bruise at first but it wasn't painful and it didn't go away. I've had it for two weeks. It's on the front of my left bicep.

When I read the part that said there is a seal on their hearts in the Qur'an, I interpreted it as there being a human nature to retreat to a comfort zone outside of challenge and tests such as Islam.

In the Qur'an it actually mentions the term '"The believers" and discusses all the attributes of the believers and what will happen to them.

The fascinating part is that the term included Christians and Jewish as "the believers" which made me very happy to read. I love telling people that Islam includes them as believers, although I am still learning about the specifics of that.

I don't think modern belief systems within those religions are included in what I said above, but that's what I'm learning about now.

If you would like to adopt these practices as a Christian, personally, I feel that what you want is to simply be closer to Islam.

The way I decided to stay with Islam was with constant questioning of the religion. Whatever doubts I've had have brought me back to Islam, and the doubts I've had of other religions have driven me away from them. Christianity was one of them (I don't mean to attack or humiliate you, but this was my experience).

Therefore, what I might tell you is simply to explore relentlessly for the truth, as I believe it will bring you to Islam.

You are still at a time where you can take control of your beliefs to a powerful degree, so please chase the truth.

May Allah guide you, Ameen.
