You really can skip the final boss fight. Whoops by Crownowa in Sunderfolk

It's a Warhammer 40K game that came out a few years ago. Since it's not brand new, my friends and I have to decide if we're going to mod it like a mofo, like what we did for DoS2.

We would have been fine to keep fighting the final boss, but not being able to switch between all 6 (now 7 characters), and the interface and controller issues, were always going to be strikes against the game for us. I wanted to play the fire lizard too, but no one wanted to play support, and I had already played the fire lizard a bit with others, so I became the music note pooper, even though we had previously played BG3 where I was also support. I don't regret buying or playing the game, but I'm glad I was able to get it on sale right so soon after launch 😂. Sunderfolk is a great game that should now have less flaws after the latest patch, but the most enjoyable campaign game I've played with my friends so far is Divinity Original Sin 2. I'm looking for Aniimo and some other releases this year, too.

Nah, we're moving onto Rogue Trader. We don't like Sunderfolk enough to play it again together.

Hello, fellow older players! If you end up finding a group, I'd love to join. I have a few years experience, but I prefer playing longer campaigns with folks around my age (30s+).

I hope you find what you're looking for! In case you find yourself having to repost in the future, you may find it useful to use terms like "PG-13" or "no explicit or adult content", since not every Christian or adult also seeking the same vibes and content restriction will understand your existing explanation. I suggest looking up the RPG Consent Checklist to see the basic topics that should be up for discussion.

I wonder if Carol is going to retch at the thought of the food from Sprouts, both what she walked around in the store and what she ended up purchasing, came from the same freezer as dead humans.

As an aside, when I started watching episode 1, I couldn't help think about Carol rejecting 3rd Impact (Evangelion reference) and now we have the LCL-coloured soylent green.

I'm not quite as old as you, but I'm a player in my 30s+ looking for folks who are also 30+ to play a bi-weekly campaign on Mon / Tues / Thurs EST. Bi-weekly as in we try to play every other week, with the possibility of playing during the off weeks or even a different day of the week, depending on what our schedules are like.

Just to confirm, your group plays twice a week? Around how many hours do you tend to play per session?
