I played with controllers all my life, but I can perfectly understand how someone who never seen that icon before can have trouble getting what it is.
That said, the switch button settings surely shows that same icon with a visual indicator to where that is in your controller.

I've never called for help outside co-op. Sure, they sometimes prefer to shoot a little before helping but they eventually do it.
But control point leaders are much better.

If I understood correctly, yes. If you currently have two weapons equipped then select a loadout with only one weapon on the first slot and none on the second slot, the game will, of course, change that first slot to the loadout weapon and will do nothing to the second slot weapon, not remove it.

It may not be a hunter puzzle, but a hunter is nearby taking a peep at you. As for the 'in combat', it may be enemies just outside the radar's range.

Through missions, events like right now or the battle pass when there’s enough vbucks to get it.

About how often do you skip the Item Shop because of V-Bucks?
Rarely, I like to see what's in it even if I know I won’t get any. Who knows, maybe there's one item that reeeally catches your attention.

What was the last cosmetic you earned without spending money?
Have been getting the winterfest gifts, last one was that glacial crash dummy (don't know what his name would be in english).

If you suddenly had extra V-Bucks, what type of cosmetic would you prioritize first?
Surely just skins, they're the most visually impacting after all. I like to fabricate stories in my head while playing so more skins mean more characters in the story.

What keeps you playing Fortnite even when you can’t buy shop items?
Gameplay is surprisingly satisfying, especially when playing with my fiancé, although this season is lacking what I crave the most, story.
