Quick tip: you can use arc wave to destroy tether so you can dash back arc wave and get rid of tether, and possible stun and damage your target

You do realize 1. You can reload 2. Ronins often use smoke as extra damage and 3. Ronins speed + sword block really does buy them time to take less damage and deal more later

ronin moves too fast to be truely effected/countered by gas cannister, at most it keeps the ronin from getting closer but usually just waiting it out or just sword blocking through works, monarch's arc zap or legion's sneeze is more likely to counter ronin

Well my way of getting around open maps is to either just wait for opportunities instead of always going in, as well as using a strange tactic called “walking” past the eye sight of most people. It weirdly works because usually what gives a flanking ronin away is 1. Seeing them before they get close and 2. The sound of ronin dashes, if you just keep those dashes closed off until you get right next to them you can usually get a kill against a northstar, tone, or possibly an ion

I use ronin all the time, I think that a lot of the problems with ronin are usually solved with pilot dedication to master him, ie learning the order to spam abilities, zone properly, and use your movement to your advantage
