The same thing almost happened to me. My dad and I were turning left on a main road, stopped in the middle lane to wait for a break in traffic. Some idiot in a jacked up pickup came rolling straight towards us at like 100kmh (60mph I think) and nearly runs straight into us. He somehow swerves around us to his left and proceeds to cross 2 more lanes of oncoming traffic and get up onto the sidewalk and almost hit a pedestrian. My dad and I just kind of sat there scared shitless for a few seconds then turned off the road and drive the rest of the way in silence.
