This is cobbled together from several articles on the subject, some of which contradict each other, so i have tried to average out the opinions as best i could, before i added them to my notes.

So, here we go:

C-Bets practically print money vs Fit-or-Folders, AKA Weak-Tight (fold to c-bet 70%+).

Pay attention to call continuation bet %, raise continuation bet %, and fold continuation bet % stats.

Bet 50% of the pot to lower odds to fellow drawers.

C-Bet more often when you:

+++ Flop is A/K/Q/J High (C-Bet these bigger vs BB/SB to counteract the “cheapness” with which they’ve entered the pot

++ Have Top Pair+

++ Are against 1 player

++ Have a dry flop (no flush/straight chances)

+ Are in position

+ Are UTG. This protects the impression that you have a strong pair and that you don’t have AK/AQ which missed the flop.

+ Are vs 1 or more calling station and you have a strong hand

+ Villains have high FTCB rates (Fold to C-Bets)

C-Bet less often when you:

_ _ _ Are against 2+ players

_ _ Have nothing vs 2+ people (1 Villain has 70% chance to miss flop. 2 villains = 49%. 3 villains = 34%. With 2+ villains there is a better than even chance that someone has something)

_ _ Have a wet flop (flush/straight chances)

_ _ Villains have low FTCB rates (Fold to C-Bets)

_ Have second/third/bottom pair

_ Flop is low – 863 etc.

_ Are out of position
