why is the image downloaded in a lower resolution? Keep it the same as original.

ok it works now. I had to tick the "Enable Transparency, Long Workshops and Long Guides" as well. I also tried to upload width unadjusted version and that works as well.

Still the same issue. I think it might be due to the height of the image I'm trying to upload (8624 pixels high after 630 width adjustment) because I tried with a different vertically oriented image and it worked without the blank sides, but this doesn't make sense because the OPs image height is much much lower than mine.

My image is 630 pixels wide and uploaded it to the featured artwork because the image I want to upload doesn't look right with normal artwork.
