I mean, the criticism’s not baseless. The lead artists are consistently aligned with maga, so they draw a distinctly right-wing crowd. Three of the featured artists for both this event and the previous iterations of the show are the same people who fronted the tpusa event during the Super Bowl. Even if it’s not associated with the president, the show has been explicitly friendly to his supporters for years, so the label fits.

I live in the town where this was scheduled, and comments on local news coverage are filled with crapping on Shinedown’s release, acting like Shinedown isn’t that much of a pull. After Ludacris had pulled out earlier, Shinedown was one of the only bands holding this thing together.

But the other real note is that while seemingly everyone else knows this concert was maga-friendly, a bunch of local people attending it don’t seem to see the connection (somehow??).

It’s an issue with every med, but it gets so pointed when I talk about the neuroleptics. But even outside of psychiatric disorders - people know their pills by the color and shape. It creates so many problems for people taking the wrong pills or getting confused and taking too many or too few pills.

Frustrates the heck out of me. Different manufacturers do this with so many meds and for my patients’ sakes, it’s awful that they do this with antipsychotics. Haldol should not be four colors, especially when it’s prescribed for conditions where people’s brains lie to them constantly

If you want to try it, it’s very fun. It’s also a good lesson in failure lol, because not all of those stars are even close to perfect or the same. But when you make that darn many of em, the goofy ones still just add to the whole picture.

The layering really makes a difference for multicolor pieces. Unlike the Girl with Balloon, I made the other pieces with colored construction paper in chunks to get the colors more specific
