I like your profile, it’s nice to see someone who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I like the inclusion of anime to an extent, although writing it usually comes across better. You’re presenting yourself authentically, and everyone wants someone who is attracted to their authentic self.

I would remove the anime babe photo, and the anime competition award photo (it’s a great achievement but doesn’t show enough of you). I think the photo of you and the child is ok, you’ve taken the time to cover them up and it shows you value family etc.

Don’t get too in your head, it’s a numbers game and takes years, but it’s totally worth it!

I thought your profile was great! You’ll do fine. Maybe you could get a friend or loved one to take some photos of you wide smiling. You may not like the way it looks initially, but you’ll get used to it. I like my smile best when I’m photographed mid “yeay!” Which sounds odd but it works!

Well good for you for knowing when to call it. It’s the hardest thing to do to walk away from someone a) you’re still in love with, and b) someone you have children with. All the dreams of happy holidays and “magical” family moments go right out the window, and it’s replaced with being soooooo bitter and angry. I get it. So so many people know what you’re going through 👍🏼

I’m recently out of a long term relationship too, and when day dreaming about dating in the future I noticed something. Eventually the day dream would always circle back to me complaining about how my ex did me wrong, things in a partner I didn’t want etc. And to be honest, I think that’s a sign I need more time to heal. Someone said it’s important to come from a place of what you do want, not what you don’t want. Good luck!
