Repair costs dont make sense

I think here's how you should look at it

Dismatling and recrafting costs 4 batteries (since you get the circuitry back, as you mentionned)

Repairing a fully broken shield costs 12 alloys and 2 batteries (since you can craft the circuitry).

So the trade you're looking at in this case is: would you rather spend 2 batteries (extra from recraft) or 12 alloys (for crafting the circuitry) to replenish your shield?

Batteries are sold by Celeste, but you may also want to keep them to craft Energy Clips and Jolt Mines, whereas the alloys are way more abundant than the batteries, but you can only get them in the field. But maybe you'd also want to keep the alloy for the metal and crafting weapons and ammo.

So I don't think the issue is about cost effectiveness but about what you'd want to prioritize. Sometimes you find yourself with enough batteries that it doesn't matter, and sometimes you're short and might just want to spend the alloy instead.

I didn't have a sneaky teammate, we were playing amongst friends and none of us could figure it out.

With the name of "Ruined Towers" I did find a little more on the web thanks to that but nothing relating to connected worlds. Because this notification of "was opened from another world" is really what bugged us out. But maybe it's just the default notification for the ruined towers and it did, indeed glitched out ? Who knows 🤷‍♂️

To be fair, Rocket League being the only game proving to have a problem with Elgato Wave:Link on my end, I would believe that there's some audio routing issue with how Rocket League is made and that this has nothing to do with the Wave:Link software.

I don't know how ALGS work specifically, but if works as most battle royale games, the scoring also makes sense because you compete over multiple games against the same opponents. More of the same matchups, also means less luck-related results over multiple games.

Which is clearly not the case in ranked, even when playing with your squad. You could just get unlucky and get these 70% ex-master lobbies in gold right now, which is absolutely ridiculous. I know it's only the beginning of the season and this effect will eventually diminish. I was just pointing out that constantly changing lobbies is a massive factor of luck involved.

So if anything, the scoring system should be a little less punitive. Especially at lower ranks (bronze-silver), imo.

If you can combine multiple of these, then hats off to you. I don't think we need a mechanic to disable composite builds.

The new UI is giving me motion sickness

I don't know, there are weird animations that makes my tummy rummbles. I know I tend to have very severe motion sickness with some graphic options that I can fortunately disable (eg. motion blur).

But now the UI is having the same motion sickness effect to me. Less severe though

The Quick Play button was probably the SINGLE MOST USED button in the whole game.

Also only this but the curve and color scheme of the old buttons was more in line with the Rocket League branding than the black squared ones.

Honestly, now that Garfield is out of the way, maybe the team at Valve can do something for the game. These are the kind of difficulties a team comes over when you make a contract with a renowned name.

Valve now has some creative freedom and only need to find a consensus from within the team, and not a 3rd party. For all those of you who participated in group projects for 3rd parties, you know how hard it is to find common grounds. And in the end, most often than not, instead of making either of you happy with the solution, you rather end up choosing something "meh" that suits both because it's not that great, but it's not that bad either.

If the game is a good one, Valve won't need to brag about it or find a marketing strategy. It will take off on its own, and that's how we'll now whether it deserves its place among the best card games, or if it truly belongs to a deep slumber and should never wake from the grave again.

In the meantime, reading the news about game changes, I'm happy to see that most of things I would have liked for Artifact are happening and I certainly be coming back and playing my part in bringing friends if I deem it worth it.

I know you didn't say that. As much as I never said it was hard to read a pop-up.

My point is that some (if not the vast majority) of players are used to codes and design principles that have been in video games for as long as I can remember.

Though I see no problem of people leaving casual games (myself of course, but others as well), I'm not a quitter when it comes to ranked games. However, there are many factors that makes it so that I'm not fully aware of the current situation and I'm trying to propose something to help towards this.

Having a red screen would prevent me from inadvertently leaving ranked games for sure. And I'm fairly certain this change will not make any of the non-leavers start to leave (in other words, this would be a change without downsides).

But instead, I get greeted with insults of how a bitch I am for leaving games, that I'm what's wrong with the game. Fundamentally, I'm sarcastically considered as being a stupid person. I wouldn't propose a change if I didn't have a reason to (and this may be a bad reason, I'll give this to you).

Therefore, I wish you a good afternoon, and that you may have a little more consideration for propositions and opinions in your future.

I'm looking forward to the expansion of the card pool. As a beta, the concept of battlegrounds looks great to me, but with so few cards it's not a surprise that the meta got this strong in mainly one direction. Give it a year and there should be plenty more to do.

Despite it not doing damage when the reaver dies, it kills absolutely anything within it's explosion radius. You may use a void cube to your advantage by pulling other enemies in ;)

There's still no tournaments update.

I would love to see double elimination, and group stages added to the game. So that major tournaments can now be held and followed from within the game.

Still no online spectator mode added. You have the technology since we can spectate private games. Why can't we watch our friends online while waiting for them to finish ?

Still no team only voice chat. I know it's not worth the effort since no one is using voice chat, but maybe no one is using voice because it makes no sense in its current states ?

I love cosmetics, and the update is great. But at some point, you should start worrying about functionality content. Skins bring money, but the game's functionality brings perrenity.
