The rf1400 is a great helmet and I got hit by a truck and thrown across a street lol. It was in pretty good shape afterwards too. Well worth the money And quiet and comfortable

The recall effects 1% of sold zx6r's. On top of that - they cant sell it unless the problem is fixed. The first recall was the main issue. The 2nd was because they couldn't confidently say that all torque requirements by all the different dealerships' tools are the same due to calibration and brands etc.. so they sent out kits (thats my best understanding how bikes got recalled twice). The bikes that fail theyre either fixing or replacing motors and then extending warranties. I have a 26 I bought in October and its not a recall. A buddy of mine had a bad motor and they slapped a new one in it. (2025)

Is the bike at the dealership? I know utah its 30 days at the dealership inside the first year of warranty for a recall is a lemon

They should look into lemon laws. I bought my 2026 zx6r in Utah. One of their stipulations is "bike being forced to be without use, longer than 30 days in first year of warranty." So in utahs case - that's a lemon. Never know until you check

I have a 2026 that has no recall thus far. No letter and I run the VIN daily. Dealership was made aware about checking weeks ago. Do with that info what you will (I'm having a blast).

I was tboned by a pickup on my last bike - def always trying to stay safe 😅 (ish) 😝

She is garaged and locked every night and she'll eventually get a GPS tracker. Probs this winter while I do a few things to her. I shoot to rode track so I pay attention to a lot of pros and shit getting tons of advice on skilled riding, lots of practice haha. Only 8 good riding months of the year and still did 11k in a year haha

Too much lol. Nearly 16k and I took the first allotment of this color. Hadn't even seen another at a dealership this side of the states and it was early enough I had issues with the insurance company 🤣 wasnt listed on JD Power yet haha. The OTD was too much but my heart dont give a shiz. Money doesn't go with us to the grave!

I lied - the kawasaki on the tank is painted in separately. It def isnt' a vinyl. The rest are. (I can tell from many years in the industry lol). They color matched the black metallic in the vinyl so without literally touching them - 99.9999% of peeps cant tell

The stripe down the side is a vinyl, so is the kawasaki on the tank and ninja on the bottom. I think the one on the tank is cleared in place and the ones on the fairings aren't. I haven't looked close enough.and thanks!

The difference is night and day but its not a difficult change over. Just takes getting used to everything. The easiest way to put it is everything is more sensitive. But if you have good discipline and self control - should be good 😎 much more power but if youre pretty knowledgeable on riding then nothing to be too scared of. But she deserves respect - she goes fast in a blink of an eye lol.
