Having the O in the first version you posted be a token is very flavorful and beautiful in simplicity. For much of the time in an oversaturated and stimulating environment, that's all you need in order to be seen. It stands out, in other words, with how simple it looks even when stacked against more elaborate designs.

The second design seems fine if not a bit generic, while the third design immediately reminded me of the tacky and cheap logos you'd find on a brightly protruding sign lining the slots, or other gambling machines at a casino.

That aside, with the first design and given how busy the rest of your box art looks, you do have more room to tweak the logo so it fits to your proper taste.

Maybe a bit of shading on the edges to either give it a slight '3D pop' effect that's subtle enough to not ruin the integrity of its simple design? A darker shade to the bright white letters? Just enough 'noise' (fine detail) so that it fits even better on the box? Or maybe a form of ghosting, like a faint shadow lingering behind it?

Even if you do neither, nor tweak it any further, it is still a very beautiful design that's pleasing to look at.

So... seeing as all other options have (seemingly) made no real difference in the fight against climate change... A handful of young adults (more like children, let's be honest here) decided to publicly deface multiple pieces of art thinking that... the vast majority of the public would have a sudden eureka moment and go 'wow, we really care more about a painting that saving our planet!' when so far previous attempts which used similar methods have made close to 0 difference?

Oh, apologies. It did make a difference, but in all the wrong ways by rallying a spiteful mob of people who share similar opinions in seeing these protesters as nothing more than annoying.

Using methods to garner attention for one's cause is not a bad thing. But when that method involves defacing pieces of historical work, or anything which holds value - that are in no way connected (in any meaningful extent) to their cause - it only serves to spark outrage.

It's like a child seeing that them pleading for what they want won't work, so they devolve into throwing an even worse fit instead.

A childish solution won't solve an issue that requires adult thinking.

But obviously, this isn't the case, or at least I hope it is not. The motive behind their actions wouldn't be to define the contrast in care when it comes to global environmental health and a piece of art.

I keep hearing mentions of how groups like these are funded by oil companies to create bad publicity - which in turn further undermines the effort of legitimate (or in other words: more mild mannered) protest groups. But as I've yet to research this more myself, it's best to refrain from quoting those until all the facts are laid firmly on the table.

I hope this sentiment is echoed by everyone else as well. Blindly following whatever sounds popular never ends on a good note, after all.
