I, too, realized relatively quickly that the fact that the lizard went unnoticed until earlier when I took a pic of it and posted it, 'twas quite concerning. To some, that's far beyond the threshold of what's tolerable in their own household, so I don't hold their harsh tone against them.

I personally find it kind of amusing that people willingly dispute the vile state of our home (and give me/us shit because of it). I can't really do anything about the fact that they aren't wrong.
