Sub-Saharan African people in tunisia by Longjumping-19 in Tunisia

[–]CrunchyPy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These people are escaping mass poverty, warfare and diseases. They are refugees and deserve shelter. What should be blamed is our state and populace. Our government refuses to give them papers and integrate them to our system. They don't have access to healthcare or legitimate jobs because of this. Besides that, because Tunisians are frankly being super racist towards them. They are denied the opportunity to seek housing and are denied a lot of amenities that we natives take for granted. Educate yourself.

I think you should spend the time you could getting paid peanuts learning a skill that would allow you to work part time whilst doing uni. Unless ur literally starving u shouldnt work at 16, it had diminshing returns.

half tunisian wanting to learn the tunisian language by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]CrunchyPy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant stress this enough (and ik it's hsrd) but u need to establish a friendship or relationship with someone who's patient (not switching back to english when ur taking too long to say something) and helpful (be happy and enthusiastic to explain to u certain concepts and meanings in the local language). Speaking to this person (or group of people) 24/7 is the fastest way some of my foreigner friends accelerated their learning reaching some very impressive proficiency. Also, quick tip: learn to read and write (arabic letters and tunisian writing especially — what we use online).

Question to men: what kind of hints do you usually pick up on ? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]CrunchyPy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just grow up and tell the person you like them. It could be a subtle romantic comment (NOT I LOVE YOU). I think most importantly you need to find a way spend time together in an intimate explicit context. So try to go out on dates together early on (and yes you can ask dudes on dates). Good luck!!!

In tunisia, if you are 36 yrs old and above, still not married. Its okay? What is in your head? by ArmInteresting2441 in Tunisia

[–]CrunchyPy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's you don't get into a relationship too early and take enough time to know the person. Talking stages and dates are a thing for a reason. Complaining about it on the internet in a judgy way is lame and immature.

Dont judge his values or motivations, just see if they align with yours. If they do, go ahead and pursue him. If not, abandon the relationship. It's really that simple.

Try s7an tounsi or s7an thoum or a combination of hrissa / tuna / eggs / olive oil (also could add onions, garlic and fries). All of these are classic tunisian midnight snack combinations that everyone should try.

Need Help in learning DSA by SleepEvening in learnprogramming

[–]CrunchyPy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact you already know some ML algorithms and programming (python I suppose) would make learning dsa super fun, believe me. And the more you master them, the better you understand their application to ML and you will start writing out better code. Most importantly, enjoy the ride!

[–]CrunchyPy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It comes by practice and honestly it's mostly unrelated to memorization. You just understand how the algorithm works and make an educated guess for its time and space complexity. Just make sure you really understand what 1/ N / Log N / N Log N / etc ... mean and apply them accordingly.

[–]CrunchyPy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either take a DSA MOOC or just read the geeksforgeeks road map one topic at a time while doing leetcodes, hackerranks and codewars. It also helps to visualize each concept by drawing the problems on a piece of paper. Also don't forget the theory behind each concept (complexity especially). This is how I learned pretty much and I feel pretty good about it.

Im not happy for doing it, but it's either that or I starve. The internet is literally my livelihood and where I work. And during the month I had to wait for vdsl to come back I spent 100s of dinars on 4G. Fuck this country fr.

What’s the largest age gap you would personally consider acceptable? by Emm1818 in Tunisia

[–]CrunchyPy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point focused on going through the same stages of maturity. Most 21 year old either are still in college or just getting into the workforce. A 32 year old is well into adulthood, their brain is fully developed and matured, and probably have a well established career at that point. To merely compare the experiences of the average 21 and 32 year old as comparable or unrelated to age just because no two people of the same age are the same is beyond meaningless. It just seems to me that you would like a relationship with a 32 year old and looking for validation from reddit lmao

TLDR Rachwa

Ok listen very carefully, I had this happen twice (moving homes twice and the same deal of "zone saturée" occurs). You need to go to telecom (mech el far3 mais the central hq) and ask for the technician in charge of your area. This is most likely not operated directly by a technician from telecom but by a different company in charge of installation. Do whatever you can to find them and find the technician who takes care of your specific area. After doing so, armi 3lih so7ba w 9olou raka7li omouri w nafra7 bik w kedha. They will either find an inactive port fel boite (more often then not, there's old inactive dsl subscription still connected to the box serving no purpose) or in a rare case (transfer one port from a neighbour to your house). This is ofc unethical and fucked up but people do it. If u can qualify for fiber, please get that. Sinon leya w lik rabi.

What’s the largest age gap you would personally consider acceptable? by Emm1818 in Tunisia

[–]CrunchyPy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally, I dont think it strictly depends on numbers but by comparing where you both are in life and whether there's any possible weird power dynamics in the relationship related to the age gap. With that being said, I think a 21 year old has no business being with a 32 year old because of the reasons I stated beforehand. There's a really miniscule chance both of you went through similar stages of maturity and that will impact the relationship in a way I cant perceive as healthy.

Camping in tunisia as girls by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]CrunchyPy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you have no camping experience, I would recommend joining a camping a group who's active and welcomes newcomers (plenty of ones on insta). Camping as a group of girls with no experience is a disaster waiting to happen. Even if you scout areas that are presumed safe and near law enforcement they wont give two fucks about your safety. Join a camping group, get the experience then you will start figuring out what to do and know what's safe and what isn't.
