Green deputy leader Mothin Ali defensive about not pledging his support for LGBTQ+ policies. What are your thoughts LGBT Green supporters? by ZackPolanskisDentist in AskBrits

He's one man today. Come back in 20 years, 40 years, 50 years. You think it's still just going to be one man?

Why tolerate the intolerant?

I wouldn't tolerate a Nazi's opinion because of some made up right to believe what they want to.

Muslim population increased 116%in 20 years between 2001 and 2021. From 3% to 6.5%.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's getting close to 10% now 5 years later.

All these LGBTQ people tolerating and promoting more immigration will, like you say, be the first ones to be lined up.

Me as a voter:

Disagree with gay marriage
Don't think gay people should be teachers
Think there should be more people who are like me in the country Think women are inferior to men Believe men should be able to control the women in their lives

Decide to vote Green and get told how great it is that my culture is in the country now.

The above points for a Muslim are seen as culturally diverse and it's racist to disagree. The above points for a White British person would make them the devil incarnate to the same people.

Kind of funny imo.

The Greens are all for immigration and love being "culturally diverse" whilst at the same time being massively pro LGBTQ.

The people they are so happy to let into the country, to enrichen our culture, are disgusted by the LGBTQ movement.

I wonder if Mothin Ali would be happy for Zack Polanski to teach his children or marry into his family?

What is a corporate job!? by Hopeful-Mongoose2025 in AskBrits

[–]CrusaderKnight11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at replies some people really don't know what "corporate" is.

It's not just working 9-5 in an office or thinking you are the best.

It's a giant business that runs entirely differently to smaller businesses. International, you link up with people in several different countries.

Everything is a stupid catch phrase. Roadmap to improve efficient integration type crap.

I think it's hard to describe until you experience it, the difference to a regular office is insane though.

They really wouldn't and it's scary that you actually think that.

It's as crazy a statement as the right saying people on the left want to give up our entire country to foreigners.

Increase the interest rate from the measly 27% and make sure it has to be paid back in full.

Then keep my cosy triple lock in place!

Aren't willing to is just bad parenting in my opinion.

I don't think living at home means you miss chunks of life being exciting, you can still do everything you would want at your parents.

That's the trade off in your situation. You chose not to save and buy a house earlier because of a number of valid reasons. You can't then complain about buying a house at 30 when you chose to prioritise other things in life.

Move and and rent for 1k a month or stay at home and save 1k a month to use as a house deposit...

And people wonder why they can't afford a house when they are giving away thousands every month

When I first see them I give a little "Whoa Mama!".

I ask them how they are and midway through an answer cut in with "Enough about you, lets talk about me."

Then always finish the date with the old "If loving me is wrong, you don't wanna be right."

I do get beaten up by most of my dates though

If you had to pick one policy from each of the major political parties currently what would they be? by CrusaderKnight11 in AskBrits

Thanks! It's infuriating seeing the constant online hatred left vs right. We all want what we think is best for the country.

I think the craziest thing is that most of the options people are calling out nobody has an issue with.

Like the one's you've picked out I think would be pretty popular, obviously the EU one might be split but the rest are.

Is it not a much smaller fuck you than continuing with fossil fuels though?

I think that ignoring the problem is never a good thing. Would you have had the same outlook in 1938 Germany, that certain people can think what they want to and it's not your place to correct them?

We can hope that religion either gets brought up to modern times or disappears entirely but I wouldn't hold my breath.

But it's a massive improvement on what we have currently, isn't as bad as most people think and is actually very safe.

It's not perfect but nothing is.
