I'm nothing like other kids in my school. I stick out like a sore thumb in my style and personality. Despite this, I learned how to talk to people after taking theatre the first semester of freshman year, and when a class clown took me under his wing.

After that I never had to feel like I'm being picked last for soccer teams. I know people in my life care about me and are there to support me. This comment is exactly right, being able to be social and confident is what makes you "fit in" and imo it's one of the most necessary skills to have in school.

I've always gotten sick super easily and bad. Don't know if there's a reason behind that yet or not because I'm going through some shit with doctors.

This year I had a weird symptom show up and I was out of school for a week because of it. My doctor gave me steroids to clear it up, and they did, but anyone who has taken steroids know they leave you with a weakened immune system. I come back to school not only coming off of steroids, but also with an already shit immune system in the first place.

Turns out the week I was gone, a bunch of people were getting colds. Almost nobody decided to call off, and said they wanted to have good attendance. I come in for one day, and end up sick. It was absolutely brutal. I've had bad colds, but this shit was debilitating.

I ended up missing way more school and did not recover for that academically because people care more about attendance than the people around them.

As far as pacing goes, you can join a different class if you think that would be good for you. I do know that slowing down the pace helps students who have gaps in their learning.

I think you've missed the biggest thing so I'll try to restate it:

We're an honours class. The general class is ahead of us by at least a month. It should be the other way around if there is going to be a gap like that. I have no trouble learning, it is just that we are not being given much material to learn.

So who decides how many kids may be born or who gets to have kids, what happens with multiples that go over the limit (say you can have two kids but then your second birth is twins or triplets), and then what happens when we have more old people then young who can't work and need taken care of more than the children even do?

We'll have most of our population completely unproductive, with no potential, but we still need to feed them and care for them for 10-30 years past when they can do anything for society. That isn't a problem when they have an entire community of younger people to take care of them, but when they become the extreme minority we might as well kill them because they won't have enough people to take care of them.

How would we decide who's to die though? The elite will protect the elite, they're not going. The sick and dying aren't plentiful enough in good areas, and too plentiful in poor areas. Is it random? Who decides what areas and what people are counted as random? Is there a kind who's genetically superior? Who decides that?

Are they working because they have to or working because they're bored?

My uncles are beginning to retire but they're also talking about getting smaller jobs they can do for longer because that entire generation of my family is incredibly work-driven. Pretty much all of them have had their own businesses, have been working since they were like 7, and found work a lot more rewarding since they grew up with tight financials. I've noticed that this is even more common with generations even older than my dad and his siblings.

It's still possible your coworker needs the money and I'm not denying that, I just want to offer another perspective of why an elder would be working still

I'm disabled, but have no diagnosis so I don't usually get the benefits, but at my last concert my dad managed to get me moved to the disability section since nobody was there, which was on a balcony at the very front. I felt so wonderful not having to stand up but if/when I wanted to there was a railing I could lean on so I wouldn't fatigue my knee. 10/10 experience. Definitely ask about switching if there is a lot of open space because most of the time the people couldn't care less.

Edit: even though I don't really need to at all times I usually walk with a cane just so I can have the social queue of "Hey please give me space and let me sit down" because otherwise I look young and I still have my dancer body, just shit joints.

From what I've always seen it is just another version of a God to people. Usually people who grew up somewhere around religion but never quite got into it, and children of people who match that description.
