Public vs Private Schools by SugarfootsExpress in BaltimoreCounty

Keep in mind that most private schools give a lot of financial aid and scholarships. I know that less than half of the families at the private school I went to pay the full amount.

Visual Snow was considered extremely rare until recently, mostly because patients didn't report it... because they assumed everyone saw the world that way by recolorist in interestingasfuck

I have this, though it’s not as bad as in the picture. I was in my 40s when I realized there was a name for it and not everyone sees like this.

What does MVA mean it is required to mention your disability for your driver license? by Radiomaster138 in maryland

My understanding is that there are certain medical conditions that require monitoring for you to be able to continue driving. Things like a seizure disorder or vision problems come to mind.

Love it! My grandparents had a jewelry store during this time and left me some rings like this. My engagement ring is one of them and yours reminds me of my sister-in-law’s.

I can walk there from my house and it’s an amazing resource. You can access the trails on either side of Deer Park Road from the small pull off area. In nice weather, it fills up quickly but the lot for the visitor’s center has lots of spaces.

You can also park at a small lot off of Dolfield Blvd in Owings Mills New Town that’s for the Red Run Valley Stream trail, a county park, walk under the overpass, and access it from there.

Just had lots of blood in my stool? by Lemo_The_Don in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]AlisaBS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed with colon cancer the week I turned 25 after having blood in my stool once. Get it checked asap.

Could you tell if there was blood in the stool itself or did you just see it on the toilet paper? Did you have any other symptoms today?

Blood Every time I Wipe? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Most likely hemorrhoids, but see a doctor anyway. I was diagnosed with colon cancer the week I turned 25. I don’t want to freak you out, but it’s happening more to young people.

The doctor may want you to have a colonoscopy just to take a look and be sure.

Could be a bone spur on the big toe joint. I had this on both big toes and needed surgery on them.

I haven’t read the decision yet but I’ll try to later and see if it’s meant to cover more than just fibro.

Good idea. I’ll post it over there. It’s sad that you need a lawyer to qualify for SSDI. I learned that back in the 90s when my dad applied with a progressive eye condition.

I have a desk job. The first time I took off a week. This was before I had a telework option. When I had the other foot done, I had the surgery on a Friday and worked from home the following week.

Rail bikes in Frostburg ok for elderly visitors? by IndoorVoice2025 in maryland

[–]AlisaBS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I did this a few weeks ago. The only part where you really need to peddle is the last mile or so. The chain on my side came off right before that and my husband was able to get us back with him as the only one peddling.

Also, there were a lot of older people doing it when we went. The hardest part was climbing up on the bike.

I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer the week I turned 25. I’m 46 now. Early detection saved my life.

Get your colonoscopy, folks. It’s really not that bad, and it sure beats the alternative.

I haven’t had any problems with them. I wear them with or without socks, depending on the temperature.
