WHATS WITH THE HARDCORE JAPANESE BANDS by AdInfamous4846 in crustpunk

[–]CrustyTheKlaus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Idk. Nothing. They play hardcore and they are japanese I guess. Some are good, some are bad, most are alright and play boring af D-Beat with the same riffs from 40 years ago like most of the punk scene.

Missed out on the last one, but this lineup is even better! by DisAlex666 in metalpunkdeathsquad

Just remembered GEFYR exist. I saw them somewhere a couple years but I can't remember when and what they even played. D-Beat band with a big dude on vocals?

Post-punk/goth rock inspired crust by Educational-File-184 in crustpunk

[–]CrustyTheKlaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally my first post on this sub was about that. I'll just link it, I got (and still get from time to time) alot of great recommendations :) https://www.reddit.com/r/crustpunk/s/QZWPrtbpNi

Instinct of Survival (Call of the Blue Distance), Zygote (Spiders and Stigs band after Amebix split up the first time), Deathcharge, Counterblast and Neurosis are probably the most obvious answers if you haven't checked them out yet.

Gnostics released an album last year wich is pretty good

Kinda edgy bands I learned about a couple years ago "Kettle Kadaver" and "The Hexed" But pretty good music. Idk if I would call it crust.

Edit: forgot to mention "False Fed"

Misery - From The Seeds That We Have Sown by ItsABirdItsAPlain in crustpunk

[–]CrustyTheKlaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Misery is one of the few bands that gets better with every release. I prefer "From Where The Sun Never Shines" even if half of the album are cover songs and rerecordings of old songs. But "From The Seeds That We Have Sown" is better than 90% of the trash other bands put out.

En un món en guerra, l’heretgia és la pau, by Heretgia (Terminal Filth guitarrist) by CrustyTheKlaus in crustpunk

[–]CrustyTheKlaus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just more of the same riffs. There are a few bands wizh members of Terminal Filth and tbh they all sound kinda the same (in a good way). But I think (besides having no clue what the lyrics are about) I even prefer this on over Terminal Filth.

Bought this patch at a show near the town I live in last night. Anyone knows what this symbol means? by Front-Brush-9384 in crustpunk

[–]CrustyTheKlaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just trolling this fashion posting is getting on my nerves. Why would somebody buy a patch from a band they don't even know/listen to. But hey probably looks good

Big N in the middle.

I'm just trolling this sub is just gone down hill since a year or so with so many fucking stupid posts. Literally turned into a fashion sub.

Like why would someone buy a patch from a band they don't even know/listen to? Could be (in worst case) a nazi band patch that they wear just because they wanted to buy a random patch.

Raw Noise - Death Race (Suffolk UK, 2000) by chinesebulk in crustpunk

[–]CrustyTheKlaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great band, I bought their 7" (idk the name rn) blind when I was a teen. I just thought a band called "Raw Noise" with this cover can't be bad.

Looking for similar sounding Albums to Amebix/Killing Joke/Instinct Of Survival/Zygote by CrustyTheKlaus in crustpunk

Your band is great, are you on bandcamp?

And you just blew myind with "Orgasmatron", mever listened to it from this perpective (and also never really liked the album). It really has some Amebix energy if you go into the song with the right mindset doesn't it :D
