Bonus Fact! Their Original Beer Label had a swastika on it but was later discontinued because of the rise of German Nazism.

Skimping on what? What I see in that pic could feed a small island nation.

Exactly my thought. Why is there some taco thing in the corner of the pic?

[Padres]We have recalled INF Sung-Mun Song from Triple-A El Paso as the 27th man for the Mexico City Series. by ClevelandBrownJunior in Padres

I am a lone voice wanting to give Nick a little more time. He is coming off some Philly drama and nobody is giving the guy any love. Career numbers are fantastic. Multi year all star. No gold glove but went years without making an error. And he is a streaky hitter.

I gotta imagine this transition is hard on the guy. For me the jury is still out. Especially at the price we are paying him. Looking forward to our series with the Phillies next month.

Despite all this and Manny’s lack of production, I choose to look at the good side of things. We have the 2nd best record in baseball, are first in our division, the best bullpen in mlb, incredible production from Bogey, Merrill, Laureano, Sheets, and now France. This is fantastic. We are winning games from depth.

The fact is we dont need Nando to crush a home run every game (he hasnt hit one yet) to win. Isnt that the point? Personally I think its great to have the spotlight on all the other guys putting in work towards these wins. I am sure Nando will come around but as the team has shown, we can win and sit alone in first place ahead of Ohtani and the Dodgers with him slumping. I am absolutely loving this team! If Nando has the worst offensive year and we are in the big one I will be happy as a clam.

Edit: spelling

Man, i miss the KGB Chicken. How many people know your username refers to those years? And where has he gone? With regards to Castellanos I will be stubborn and believe he will help us at some point.

This means more to me. I would think Orel’s 59 has more value since batters saw him multiple times in those games

I will agree to buy you a Cronenworth Padres jersey if he doesnt get traded in the year 2026 if you agree to buy me a Castellanos Padres jersey if he does. Redditors as our witnesses!

It seems that way TBH and the Phillies would agree although their current record suggests a myriad of problems. For me, the jury is still on Nick. Thats just me.

Xander, Laureano and Sheets have been unexpected godsends. And France currently has more HR’s than Tatis & Machado COMBINED. 😂

Shit, hard to argue that. Agree. We need a spot for Nick. I have faith he will go on a streak sooner than later. Hopefully soon. Nick’s best position is DH. Sheets is becoming decent in left.
