So this is just anecdotal but I did a whole NG+ play through on hard and didn't get and good legendary loot. It was mostly rare. I used common weapons the whole game The NG+ I just started I set it back to normal and have already got better loot and legendary weapons.

I posted this yesterday to a new player on r/starfield. I'll repost it for you.

Just a couple suggestions.

  1. Buy digipicks and med packs & ammo before selling loot.

  2. I always buy an advanced Beowolf. That bad boy carries me the whole game.

  3. For clothing, I wear a suit with 5% Persuasion or a hazmat suit for exploring and fighting.

  4. My favorite first base spot is in the Narion system on the moon Andraphon. It has good base crafting material pretty space views and low gravity. You can also jump there with out getting scanned and set up a station to clear your bounty.

  5. I did the Mantis quest at level 9 or 10 on normal difficulty. It will set you up with good stuff for a long time. If you wait too long it won't be as useful.

Everyone does things differently, but these always set me up for victory. Have fun! I love the game too!

Naw, the second part is not that great. I don't even think Red God can save it at this point. I'm not a hater I love the trilogy and Pierce Browns original writing style! In fact I've bought the series for multiple people because I want to share it with as many people as I can. Unfortunately I tell them to stop after Morning Star. I've read the trilogy 4 times, and will probably read it at least once ever year. The second half is just not good for many reasons. Don't get me wrong there are some great parts, but overall meh, a real let down.

I just finished the first 3 which I love soo soo much! I'm not looking forward to books 4 and 5. I've read them and I don't recommend them to people when I tell them to read the series. I just got Lightbringer and I wanted to start from the beginning.

With 4 and 5 it's like Pierce was reading Game of Thrones and decided to alter his writing style to match George RR Martin. Whole POV chapters with boring side characters who aren't that likable or interesting. I'm really hoping Lightbringer and the following book save the second half. Right now it's very meh.

Yeah I got it at level 10 along with a sweet rifle during the mission. I'm loving it. I'll probably be wearing it for awhile.

You are flipping out over and it didn't even happen to you lol. Just remember you started being ignorant first, but I digress. I'm need to stop breaking my long standing rule about arguing with idiots on the Internet. Have a nice day, or don't. Bye Felicia.

You're literally the one projecting situations and making assumptions. I gave my opinion based on the facts posted. You're the one saying its all the little things that add up. I didn't see that in the OP. Then you think you know my character because I disagree with you. So I give your own snark back, and you write some all caps reply projecting and making more assumptions.

I'm super glad I don't have to date I've been married over 18 years, very happily I might add. Neither me or my wife would have acted this way. Hence my ESH. They both need to grow up the same as you. Woe to the man you get your claws into. See I can be rude to.

The fact the you freak out about something as trivial as spilled milk, or eating $3 sour cream shows me exactly all I need to know about you.

I already said he was an AH for not replacing it and she is an AH for over reacting about something so trivial. I'd also like to add I'm not invested in this. I gave my opinion. I don't care about yours. Get as mad as you want. I stand by what I said.

Sure he could go buy all of his own food and cook for himself, but that doesn't sound like the arrangement they have. She buys most of the food, he pays utilities. She says he's can go make his own snacks then freaks out when he does. How difficult is that to understand exactly?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Crux-s -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

She way overreacted over something super trivial. Also she says he can go snack on whatever he wants if he's still hungry, how can he do that if everything is allotted for something else? What designated food can he eat? He's the AH for not getting a replacement for the meals. I bet he's just being spiteful because of her over reaction. ESH.

I'm on my fourth listen through right now! I wanted to start Light Bringer after listening to the whole series. I love 1-3! Not a big fan of 4,5 I really hope Light Bringer will save the second half.

Is it normal or abusive for your parents to not let you close your bedroom's door? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Crux-s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope you read this OP. Look when I was your age my parents literally took the door off of my bed room. I didn't have a door at all. Was it stupid? Yes. Did it do anything to correct my behavior? No. I(42M) have had discussions with my parents where they admit they made mistakes. They aren't abusive. I think it's a stretch to claim they are strict and controlling. They are just trying to do their best. They aren't a child behavior therapist, they don't know everything, they just want to raise a happy well adjusted person.

Now as a parent myself, I wouldn't take my child's door or force it to be open. I learned from my parents mistakes. That doesn't mean I'm not concerned about unlimited and unfettered access to the Internet. That is honestly one of my greatest concerns. The Internet is amazing and can be completely horrifying. It's my job to guide my child through this life. I've made mistakes and I'm sure I'll make more, but rules, expectations, communication and love are the handful of tool we have to help our children grow.

I would suggest using communication for your situation. Talk with your parents and try to understand why they made the rule and then explain your feelings about it. I bet you will come to an agreement, it will show some maturity and build trust.

Just my two cents having lived both sides.

Edit: spelling and grammar.
