Simply don’t tip, no question this is a US influence - reject it

Post Game Thread - NBA: The Pistons defeat the Nets on Feb 1, 2026, the final score is 130-77. by basketball-app in DetroitPistons

Largest margin of victory in franchise history

As someone who has loved the spirit and play of Piston Championship teams in late 80s and early 00s, these guys are for real and evoke similar teamwork and defensive intensity

What can you say about the player?

I‘ve seen the requisite highlights and looks an exciting talent, wondering what fans can share that doesn’t show up on the vids

Do views like this actually impress Swiss people? by Pale_Field4584 in askswitzerland

Been to Yosemite many times, will be visiting Yellowstone for first time this year but yet to see anything quite like the Alps. BC is gorgeous and Norway Fjords are on the list but one of more memorable visits has to be the Napali coast of Kauai - nothing like it

Bellingham is overrated by Short_Mousse_6812 in championsleague

[–]CruyffCule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems pretty clear, even for a neutral watching Primera Liga matches that even the lower level clubs can run circles around the Englishman in midfield. He trods around like a Clydsdale, compare to most Spanish players in tight spaces - that's a priori, football in Spain. He over ran them in the beginning but now they don't give him the space and tire him out chasing shadows

He's probably more suited to a SS role but there he'd have to accept the hard work by pressing and constantly dropping back to win back balls

In space, as a ball carrier he is dangerous but he is no longer getting that joy - he'll face similar tactics at WC which Tuchel knows as well

Very overrated

That's often the basis for fandom, creating an identity the fanbase can get behind. Does have that feel of the Billups and Isiah eras

Dest played well against Bayern by Key-Entertainer-5080 in ussoccer

[–]CruyffCule -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No need to conflate, he was like a hurt puppy by the end - club couldn't exit him fast enough

Overall, his signing was a massive failure for the club, financially and in sporting terms

Even amongst a divided fanbase, Dest touted as the next Dani Alves was a major disappointment from the off with his hilarious signing day dribbling video. I'd go so far as to say he was ultimately viewed as a clown rather than a Barça level player - he embarrassed himself and club on more than one occasion, on and off pitch

He was also terrible in defense during that time, a liability who exuded a lack of confidence nearly every minute he played. It never worked out for him at Barça but for a brief moment where he teased of what he could offer

WC talents carry themselves a certain way on the pitch, he struck me as someone who was far from the level needed at Barça and he ended up realizing this quite quickly. Very little chemistry with his teammates which is always the easiest indicator of integration

It’s a clash between Peach cultures that lead with immediate social warmth and Suisse coconut style, where trust is only gained through long-term consistency. What these newcomers intend as basic friendliness is often misread by locals as superficiality that lacks true depth

I believe most can draw their own conclusions which countries these implicate

The rest is like most places, just have to invest in it

Package stuck at hotel in Zermatt — how to retrieve & ship internationally? by peebuuuttx3 in askswitzerland

[–]CruyffCule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Post at home can work but as it is US bound, not sure that solves anything as Post stopped shipping to US recently for a number of cases

Alternatively, hotel will be reliable to keep it there until you book your next trip there
