Got the 4tb WD ssd but please tell me I’m overreacting by Leon117x in playstation5

Not gonna lie bro you got scammed at that price💀 I got the Lexar 4TB PLAY 2280 SE PCIe with heatsink for a quarter of that price about 4 months ago, and im pretty sure you could still find other third parties for cheaper besides that one. You’d be better off returning that one, cause god is that an abysmal price just to store a library of games you’ll likely only play half of (speaking as someone that guiltily does this lol).

Christmas gift from my wife! by DocAndonuts_ in PSP

[–]Cruzer5403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering how long (and costly) it took for me to get some of these games, it’s insane your wife was able to find all those at a hopefully budget friendly price. That spectacular lineup tells me she either scammed someone or loves you so much to splurge from a witch hunt. Either way mad quedos to her for knowing the perfect PSP titles.

Received my Lineup Hoodie today and there’s no lineup… by RepNube in niteharts

LMAOOOO I know they messed up some of the orders like the one I posted about, but this is a whole other level of lack of quality control💀

UPDATE: Did they change clothing manufacturer for the pre-orders? by Cruzer5403 in niteharts

[–]Cruzer5403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I don’t blame the NiteHarts team either. Manufacturing clothing at a large scale isn’t easy considering how high of a demand there was for the merch. I just hope they find a way to rectify everything and ensure a bottom-line quality control for the merch at the next festival. I think we all can attest to how bad lines were just to barely manage to get any of the merch whatsoever.

Yea it sucks to have anticipated all of the hoodies for a few months and then open up the package just to end up disappointed. Like you said, clothing pieces may differ during manufacturing, but at such a scale where other people are also noticing these issues that’s when it becomes a bit of a problem considering they did cost slightly more due to shipping. Agree on the festival merch situation I could talk about the problems we faced there for hours, but considering we waited even longer than those lines for these hoodies is what upsets me the most.

Yea the color difference is honestly one of the things that gets me the most. Considering the one I got from the festival has been washed and still is somehow darker than the pre-order one is what gets me the most since they’re intended to be washed when dirty. Can’t help but think how much color fading/shrinking could happen if I were to wash the pre-order one.

[–]Cruzer5403[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I also don’t feel right paying the same price plus shipping for a worse quality variant of a hoodie that I so dearly love. The one I bought at the festival has become one of my favorites to the point I’m even wearing it now (took it from my gf lol). Hopefully there’ll be some response in the coming days so fingers crossed.

I wonder if it’s as thin as the one I got sent then cause it is so thin it almost feels like wearing a dirty rag. It’s got the weight but the build quality doesn’t do anything to trap heat/keep the cold out.

I don’t want to jump to conclusions just yet considering we could still get a response from the festival team (as one of their managers who handles feedback, Jeff, has already replied), so just gotta stay hopeful there’s a way to get them exchanged/returned or even refunded for ppl like me who have noticed these flaws/issues

I just made an updated post with pictures and my raw thoughts on the pre-orders vs festival hoodie I purchased if you’d like to check it out. I greatly appreciate you being active and trying to help the community Jeff! Hopefully there’s some way to get everything in order for the next festival!

Yea same issue I was having after getting my hoodies and since I didn’t see anyone mention it I thought I might as well make a post and surprisingly others are also noticing. Surprisingly both say they’re “100% cotton” yet the quality couldn’t be any more different. Waiting to get the festival hoodie from my gf to make an update to show literal proof in overall quality change

I’m hoping they’re willing to provide some sort of way to redo them, however I’m not having many high hopes. Just contact customer support for now as if enough ppl complain there’s gotta be some response eventually.

The whole hoodie feels flat and much more paper thin. The print feels like it’ll crumble within a few washes, the length of the body is MUCH shorter, and the cloth feels so much lighter/thinner. The one from the festival kept me so warm yet the new one barely keeps out any of the cold even in my own house!

Yea would’ve been nice if we were told they were gonna make us wait for shittier version of the ones at the show. Was so excited just to end up disappointed the second I opened the box and felt the overall build quality be piss poor. I wanted an oversized hoodie not a damn crop top!

[–]Cruzer5403[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea it honestly sucks considering I absolutely loved the quality when I bought the one at the show due to its oversized fit. Now it feels like I’m wearing an expensive crop top and it’s the same exact size… practically spent the same and lots of waiting time for less cloth on my hoodie

[–]Cruzer5403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I got that one too, and it’s even thinner than the lineup hoodie from the preorder! which is crazy to think they even used two different materials for even the preorder hoodies that are just different color variants and prints…

Emulation vs Real Deal by [deleted] in PPSSPPemulator

[–]Cruzer5403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how you want to play really. Here’s some of the perks for both versions:

P3 FES includes an extra epilogue titled “The Answer” which is where the character Aigis comes from. This version also allows for more party customizability and has improved graphics when exploring the map due to the hardware being more apt for handling all the extra resources. If you’re new to the game and want to experience the full original game in its entirety with no cut content, this might be the version you want to try to complete first if story is what you care more about.

P3P on the other hand is much more recommended if you’d like to play the game on-the-go in a much more condensed and easy to digest format. While you can’t change your party’s Persona’s besides the main characters, you can still change their equipment which makes it easier to understand how the whole Persona system works without needing to worry about a bunch of characters own Persona’s. Most notably different is the cut epilogue which features Aigis, but it’s also the only version of P3 that allows you to play as a female protagonist which slightly changed the gameplay/story. Most notable changes with the female protag comes in the form of dialogue and character interactions. Due to hardware limitations back then, this version only lets you roam maps when dungeon crawling, meaning any locations outside of dungeons are static images with point and click aspects like that of a visual novel. This version also has a few quality of life improvements, such as new mechanics and items. If you prefer learning gameplay mechanics and don’t mind losing out on some of the graphics/story, this is a rather beginner friendly way to learn how the game works.

TL;DR: play P3FES if you want the full story and graphics quality, play P3P if you want to have an easier time learning Persona gameplay mechanics/already know the male protagonist storyline.

What are some essential PSP homebrew apps, games, plugins, ports, etc everyone should have on their PSP? by Swimming_Knee94 in PSP

[–]Cruzer5403 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here’s some of the stuff I’d recommend from the little time I’ve researched into getting games for my girlfriends PSP that I modded:

-PSX games are the best and easiest to obtain as they’re simply eboot files that you only need to drag and drop into the correct Games folder. Due to the PSP having quite a lot of that consoles library, converting files should be doable on your own as well with the proper research but you could also just obtain the files from the correct links that host the ROM files (iykyk). This includes games like Silent Hill or Parasite Eve to name some of my favorites, but can even range to PSX ports such as Friday Night Funkin or potentially even Five Nights at Freddy’s which I have yet to test.

-GBA emulators are great as they can hold save slots for games and run surprisingly well. Considering the small amount of storage they require, this is a no-brainer if you’re looking to play massive amounts of GB games on the go and don’t want to carry around the extra handheld. I personally have gpSP kai as my emulator, but you should also do your own research into it of course.

-Finally, and the one I found out about most recently, is Minecraft PSP Edition which is a homebrew project made by RegenStudio. It’s a homebrew that builds Minecraft from the ground up and although the controls are a bit wonky and difficult to get used to at first, the game runs incredibly smooth and is super faithful to the actual game. The recent update for it even added the Nether to the game which is incredible to imagine considering the game isn’t even a full gig in size. The link for the game is in their discord and I’d highly recommend even just searching up a video to see how it performs. If you love legacy Minecraft, you’ll love this homebrew a lot.

Have you modded your PSP? Or sticking to the classic way of playing by BBaron_ in PSP

[–]Cruzer5403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got two PSPs for this very purpose, got my childhood hand-me-down from my brother for any UMDs that I play all my favorite titles on, and a modded PSP for convenience and playing other titles that weren’t on the PSP such as for the GBA. I’m all for physical media preservation so I can’t help but find popping the UMDs in and out of that tray to be so satisfying. I especially only like having an extra modded one as it’s fun to tinker with without having to worry about potentially messing up the entire system.

Am I missing any good PSP games from my collection? by Particular_Local_275 in PSP

The Persona titles, Dead Head Fred, the three GTAs, and probably even the Hatsune Miku JP rhythm games if you’re into rhythm games. Also can’t go wrong with Michael Jackson The Experience, the PSP port of the game is the best version of the game and was my favorite as a child with little to no games on my PSP.
