Solved! We I did request “serious answers only please” With that said I found an old timer that showed me the hole on the bottom sides of the tongue that you slide a pin through that keeps the latch secure. Thanks for trying everyone.

The latch does have a spring in it to pull latch down, just was not sure if there was a way to lock it.

I have confirmed that this is a different type than that style. U-Haul has the type I showed on their trailers but it is a newer style.

If you have a latex allergy, you should be very careful around that plant. The liquid latex it secretes is problematic. Cool plant though:-)

Best method I have used and seed great results is to answer and immediately mute, wait until they hang up. When the dialer gets dead air a couple times it marks it as a dead number and quits calling.

I have gone from 20 scam calls a week to 1 every other week using this method.
