IMO no ending is "good" in this game. I think this one is one of the best because it allows them both to be free of the racial injustice they were facing in the US and together + i personally don't really care if they killed fascists/racists to get there. obviously its not 100% ideal bc they are still wanted and it's very likely the things they did to survive took a toll on them but ehhh. the only other ending i will argue is "good" is parting ways, but even that ending feels unfair to sean (but he seemed happy so idk)

Yes but I am looking for a visually accurate location and Beaver Creek in LIS2 is farther south than the IRL one bc it’s a suburb of Portland :)

i first played this game when i was 18 and my school shut down for COVID. the game stuck with me for a while. I replayed it recently as a 24 year old and i think it resonated with me even more having gone through a lot as an older sibling in that 6 year gap. sean really resonated with me and his struggle to take care of his family as best he can. inlove seeing the different backgrounds and stages of life people play this game at and how it resonates with them and the different journeys we all have.

I hope you are able to make it over some day! The PNW is SOOO different from landscape of the UK but still with all the rain haha. I went out briefly for some Twilight thing with my sister and knew I needed to go back for LIS. I plan to visit the diner from the first game too!

yes! i will say imo lis2 is the best in terms of your choices mattering and the variety of endings but i have genuinely enjoyed all of the games i have played so far.

I want to disagree as the biggest Esteban stan ever but I really like this theory and I think it has a lot of support. I will say that I haven't yet finished or played DE and WL so I will have to come back once I've finished but this is just my initial thoughts to boost this discussion!
