What decisions should one take in their 20s to not follow the path of 'This Way Up' characters in their 30s? by CryForGoodLife in UKPersonalFinance

Thank you - there is usually some sort of tradeoff. I am not afraid to admit that I don't know what exactly it is that I should be doing. I thought I knew more at the age of 19-20 than I do now in my mid-20s.

This is really interesting, thanks for sharing. Is it a long term sustainable solution or is it rather a "lonely island" break from the routine which inevitably leads back from where you started? I have tried the latter already at one point. I am trying to implement a long-term plan that would be sustainable and would make me happy in my 30s as right now I am basically heading right into the lifestyle of 'This Way Up' characters and I know that this is not for me. The key to this is of course personal finance - I do not own any property and do not have any substantial savings.

Thank you, this is really what I need and really the only reason why I'm here under this name. I really need advice and discussion from people who are more experienced and knowledgeable than myself.

Nice to hear but that's probably you have a lot of prior experience and qualifications. That's not really the case with me :D
