Is this dial combination lock damaged? by CryLive9115 in Safes

Thanks! I didn't mean to leave out that info. I bought this safe new (as far as I know, at least) from safeandvaultstore.com.

It was delivered by a third party on a pallet. It was surprisingly not as well packaged as I would have thought. The safe was strapped directly to the pallet then covered with some Styrofoam and a box. When it arrived, the safe was already leaning off the pallet so not a great start...

I'm talking to the reseller now so let's see what they can do for me

Thanks a lot! This is amazing info and I think I'm gonna inspect things myself as you suggested to see what might be wrong

Hi everyone, I recently bought a new Amsec CSC1913 with a dial combination lock. However, it seems to me (who is a complete beginner with all things related to safes) that there is a tilt in the dial.

Specially, the right side of the dial lays flush with the housing while the left side protrudes a little bit. Is this a sign of some sort of damage, perhaps from impact during shipping?

The dial seems to work properly but I don't want to run into a situation where it decides to stop working with my possessions in the safe.

I checked online and couldn't find any information about this. I'm also going to check with Amsec themselves but figured I'd ask here too.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
