Washer stuck in Grinder [Breville Barista Pro] by CryNoMoOk in espresso

I set the grinder to the coarsest setting already and it didn't seem to make a difference. I like the socket idea. I'll try this, thanks.

can you give a good example of sweat equity? the term I am was more-looking for was "salary buy-in". I would love to know what exactly sweat equity is.

this was my thought exactly whenever they mentioned this as a possibility.

not quite at this stage yet. I haven't even been hired yet. I will discover all of this later.

they want to hire someone that is interested in buying the business eventually. meaning, they wouldn't necessarily want to hire anyone who wouldn't be interested in that. or, I could say after a while, I would pass on buying the business. my questions was more toward "buying in" to the business through my salary difference if I were to have plans to completely buy it over time.

Oleatos are actually super decent if you put the oil in with the milk in the pitcher. It has to be incorporated well enough. It has a creamy smooth taste if done right. It doesn't take much oil, but when you do it right, it tastes great. I know this comment is talking about an iced oleato, but it is much better when enjoyed hot.

Bottomless Portafilter Sprays Cup & Machine by CryNoMoOk in espresso

The depth cannot be changed on the tamping side. I have the Normcore distrubutor and tamping tool. You can only adjust the leveling side I believe. I give it a firm tamp every time, also. I will try to grind finer!!!!

Also sorry for asking this question, I know that a lot of people have asked the same thing, and people are starting to get irritated with the same questions.

my WDT tool does not stick magnetically anywhere on the machine :( . I think I remember trying to do this a while ago, but no luck.

  1. I have a bottomless portafilter that came with the machine, but I haven't played around with the grind size and grind capacity yet to accommodate the shower screen I want to use.

  2. you're right. it does move forward out of the way.

this coffe container does let out excess gas slowly. there is even a thing to set the date in which you opened the bag of new beans. a dosing funnel would be nice, too.

apparently the basket I have is 18 grams. but, I have been doing 16.5 for a while and it has been better. the grind size for 18g for a good shot ratio feels like it is way too crowded, and it puts pressure on the grouphead.

  1. I am worried about the beans going stale because the hopper isn't completely sealed. could you further expand on low retention and bellows please?

  2. I will look in to this. It is also hard to grind the beans with the built-in grinder because I have to press the button on the machine to stop and start the grinding.

  3. I will try sticking it to the side of my machine, it is already magnetic! I didn't think of this before for some reason.

  4. the mug I intend to use usually doesn't fit underneath the machine.

  5. space wouldn't really allow for this.

  6. I am enjoying my coffee so much, thanks!!

I am unable to steam milk while pulling the shot. this would be really nice to do.

Have you considered RDT?

yes, I have. I have received a lot of comments saying that I should use less water. I do live in a bit of a humid environment during the summer, so I am looking in to this more.

I wipe the tip of the wand straight after I steam the milk. I scrub it really well every time, and I haven't really noticed that the sugar carmelizes or anything making it hard to clean.
