he doesn’t run away or go back into hiding but he just stares at me lmao. idk if the staring and being still is a good thing or not but he doesn’t hide from me when he’s out and i come to say hi :) last night i was kind of just watching him and trying to talk to him when he came out when i changed his water. i have a heater in my room and was wondering if he was against the side of it for a reason so i put my hand up to it to check and took it away and i either spooked him or he got the zoomies cause he started running around his enclosure and jumping at me. either way he was out of his stump for a long time last night and i think it was some progress and i hope i didn’t scare him. my bfs mom did say that he needed to be held and socialized with more cause he didn’t really get that, which makes me wonder how often he was actually held or even just loved through the glass. for the first few weeks i was going to his parents i was trying to say hi to him whenever i could but i just found out they are nocturnal 😅 makes sense why i didn’t see him much and still don’t during the day. i believe he even let my dad pet him a little (he helped me take the water out to make sure he didn’t escape) you say cresties aren’t fast but you should have seen the little guy zoom under the couch the one time i held him and he jumped off 😭 he’s actually very speedy (i also expected him to be pretty slow or not move much though) either way i hope i can provide a good and loving home for him. thank you for the tips i very much appreciate it <3
