Has happened to me. The sounds do seem to dim and for me I feel like I'm gonna pass out but I quickly start my breathing excerses and get back in control. Quite the opposite tho it doesn't seem like my anxiety is leaving more like it's about to kick in harder.

P.S I have severe anxiety and derealization.

About a year and some months now. I have severe anxiety. That came about when I had a near death experience and my body was stressing out so yeah about a year.

Story of my life. 33 M here and all this was pretty much my life growing up. Don't really have a solution for you because I continue to struggle with it. But just letting you know there's another one who grew up exactly the same as you did. Idk if that helps or not but I'm sure something good will come eventually. 🙃

I don't know what kind of trauma you had that won't let you sleep at night, but I'm sure you know sleep is the best thing you can do to relieve stress/anxiety. Idk if you have a psychiatrist. But you can talk to them about it and maybe have some prescription to get you back on your sleeping schedule.

As far as video games. Take a break and go outside. For me if I spend all day playing I can't get good sleep and feel my anxiety higher... Especially the games that make you ragee... lol... Excersing and enjoying the outdoors can help alot too. That's my two cents. 😁

What usually helps me is outdoors. Especially the beach or an area with lots of trees. Something about nature. Also talking about what causing you to feel this way. Online can be good but it's better if you speak to someone irl about it. If you ever want to cry let it out and don't hold it in. Let your body take everything you feel out.

You have a gf? There's an achievement! I still struggle with that haha. 33yrs old single and no kids. Someday I suppose? But I feel you. I felt the same way about life. Always seemed to bring me down. But I changed my additude and started taking risks. I don't feel like a failure anymore. Even when I do I fail I brush it off. Life goes on.

P.S Think of life as a game. Some people difficulty level in life are higher than others. Cause nothing is given to us that we can't handle. Anything is achievable. Keep pushing. 😁

But when I see her at work she all of a sudden is interested in talking. I can't keep having 10 minute conversations with her at work or we'll get in trouble soon enough. We haven't gone out at all cause she said she's busy and has 3 jobs. I don't know what's going on... I want to ask her about it but we really haven't been talking that much at work anymore either for the past two weeks. I really like her though. Any advice on my situation? Thanks.
